Effective date: July 28, 2026
Red Cyber Shield Corp (“Red Cyber Shield,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) publishes SearchOps: Log Hunter (“SearchOps,” the “game,” or the “service”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use SearchOps through the web, an Apple application, an Android application, or another supported platform.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create or use a SearchOps account, we may receive and store:
- Your email address.
- Your display name.
- A unique account identifier.
- Authentication-provider identifiers when you use Apple, Google, or another supported sign-in provider.
- Account status and security information needed to operate your account.
Red Cyber Shield does not receive your password when you use a third-party sign-in provider. Passwords used for direct email authentication are handled by our authentication service and are not displayed to Red Cyber Shield personnel.
Gameplay and training information
We may collect:
- Missions started and completed.
- Scores, stars, experience points, achievements, and streaks.
- Search queries entered in the game.
- Search-run counts, hints used, and completion time.
- Validation results and instructional feedback.
- Campaign access and purchase-entitlement status.
SearchOps missions use synthetic event data and fictional incident scenarios. The mission datasets are not customer logs and are not intended to contain real personal, network, or incident information.
Purchase information
For web purchases, payment processing is provided by Stripe. For purchases made through an Apple application, payment processing is provided by Apple. Other platforms may use their required payment provider.
We may receive:
- A transaction or checkout identifier.
- Product purchased.
- Purchase date.
- Payment status.
- Refund, revocation, or restoration status.
- The account to which access was granted.
We do not store full payment-card numbers, card security codes, or Apple payment credentials.
Device, usage, and diagnostic information
We and our service providers may collect limited technical information needed to secure, maintain, and improve SearchOps, such as:
- Browser or application type.
- Device and operating-system information.
- Approximate network information, including IP address.
- Application errors and diagnostic events.
- Pages or features used.
- Login and security events.
- Referral and campaign information.
Support communications
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, account information, transaction details, screenshots, and the contents of your request.
2. Guest Access
The Apple version of SearchOps may permit access to selected free missions without creating an account.
Guest progress is not associated with a SearchOps account and may not be retained after the application is closed, removed, reset, or moved to another device. An account is required to synchronize progress, achievements, purchases, and scores across devices.
Limited device, security, and diagnostic information may still be processed while using guest access.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create, authenticate, and administer accounts.
- Provide missions, scores, achievements, and saved progress.
- Verify purchases and restore access.
- Prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Provide customer support.
- Diagnose errors and improve performance.
- Measure feature use and improve the game.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and platform obligations.
- Protect Red Cyber Shield, our users, and the public.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help operate SearchOps, including providers of:
- Application hosting and backend services.
- Authentication.
- Payment processing.
- Error monitoring and analytics.
- Email and customer support.
- Security and fraud prevention.
These providers process information for the services they provide to us and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information:
- When required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
- To investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms.
- To protect legal rights, safety, and property.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
5. Authentication Providers
When you use Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or another external authentication provider, that provider processes information under its own privacy policy.
Apple users may choose to hide their email address. In that case, we may receive an Apple private relay email address instead of the user’s regular email address.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
The web version may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to:
- Maintain login sessions.
- Preserve application settings.
- Protect authentication flows.
- Remember necessary technical state.
- Measure performance and diagnose errors.
You may be able to control these technologies through your browser, but disabling required storage may prevent account or gameplay features from functioning correctly.
7. Data Retention
We retain account and gameplay information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide SearchOps.
When an account is deleted, associated gameplay and profile records are removed from active systems promptly. Limited information may be retained when necessary for:
- Payment, tax, accounting, or audit obligations.
- Fraud prevention and security.
- Resolving disputes.
- Enforcing agreements.
- Compliance with law.
- Temporary backup and disaster-recovery cycles maintained by service providers.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion.
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Appeal a denied privacy request where applicable.
To make a request, email info@redcybershield.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
SearchOps also provides an in-application account deletion process under Settings → Delete account.
9. Account Deletion
Account deletion removes the SearchOps account and associated profile, mission-progress, search-history, score, achievement, and entitlement-association records from active systems.
Account deletion:
- Does not automatically issue a refund.
- Does not cancel or reverse an Apple, Google Play, or Stripe transaction.
- May not remove records that must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.
- Cannot be undone after completion.

10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your credentials and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
11. International Processing
SearchOps and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
12. Children’s Privacy
SearchOps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally valid parental consent.
If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this section, contact info@redcybershield.com.
13. Vendor-Neutral Training
SearchOps is an independent, vendor-neutral cybersecurity training game. Commercial SIEM, security, cloud, and operating-system products are owned by their respective companies. SearchOps does not claim sponsorship, certification, endorsement, or affiliation with those companies.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in SearchOps, our practices, or legal requirements. The updated policy will show a revised effective date.
Material changes may also be communicated through the application or by another reasonable method.
